3rd Interamerican Scout Moot

The Qhapaq Ñan or Inca Road, is a symbol of the integration of the people, collective work, solidarity, cultural exchange, search and discovery. This way, the programme of the 3rd. Interamerican Scout Moot will be expression of an educational proposal based on these principles and a space for personal development, live according to Scouting Method, celebrate cultural diversity, to strengthen the movement values and commitment... and contribute in creating a better world!

17th Australian Venture AV2018
January 2 - 13, 2018

Get Set as the next big excitingevent for Venturer Scouts is on its way. From the 2nd – 13th January of 2018 Queensland will host the 17th Australian Venture “AV2018”. The Venture is being held in Brisbane at Camp Warrawee around 40 mins north of the Brisbane CBD.

An Australian Venture is the major National youth event for the Venturer Scout section (14 – 17 years old) of Scouts Australia. You get to meet other Venturer Scouts from all over Australia and around the world.

For 10 days you will visit different areas of Queensland, try out activities and challenges you may have never dreamed of doing, and make friends for life!

16th Caribbean Jamboree
July 18-24, 2018

The Caribbean Scout Jamboree is an International camp organized for scouts between
12 and 18 years. Although participants come mostly from Caribbean countries, contingents
from North and South America are also invited. The United States will be sending a contingent
again. The aim of this event is to offer scouts an unforgettable experience filled with activities
that will meet their expectations and leave them inspired and motivated to bring a change in
their communities.

July 23 - August 2, 2018

Scouting Nederland organizes the 2018 edition of the Roverway. This will be a challenging international Rover and Ranger event for European guides and scouts between the ages of 16 to 22. This event is organized by the European Scout Region of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

About 3,000 Rovers and Rangers will participate in the Roverway, coming from over twenty countries. The participants will be divided into international teams, with whom they will participate in the Path of their choice. These Paths are located throughout the Netherlands. After the Path, the participants travel to International Scout and Guide Centre Zeewolde where the central camp will take place for another few days. During the Roverway, youth from all over Europe come into contact with each other and develop both themselves and others. In August 2016, the Roverway took place in France. Earlier editions were in Finland, Iceland, Italy and Portugal. Scouting Nederland expects that their organization of the Roverway will provide a new impulse for Scouting and Rovers and Rangers especially in the Netherlands.

Come with your Scout Troop or Venture Scout Crew and Rí-Imagine, Rí-Create, Rí-Discover. Camp Chief Kiernan Gildea and his team have a fun-filled programme in store, with plenty of surprises along the way. An Irish jamboree is an unforgettable experience, so don’t miss out!

Chamboree is an international Scout Camp for Scouts and Guides from all over the world. Situated in rural Cheshire, close to Manchester and Liverpool and less than 2 hours from London by train, it is perfectly located for your next adventure. Blair Atholl Jamborette

The Blair Atholl Jamborette is Scottish Scouting's premier international event.

It brings together over 1,000 Explorer Scouts and Leaders from all over the world for a 10 day camp in a picturesque corner of highland Perthshire.

Every 2 years since 1946 the tranquil grounds of Blair Castle have been transformed with participants from all over the world coming together to camp and share in fun, friendship, and a massive range of adventurous activities and challenges.

19th U.S. National Scout Jamboree

Since the first National Scout Jamboree was held in the summer of 1937 on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the Jamboree has become Scouting’s flagship event. In the summer of 2013, the Summit Bechtel Family Reserve welcomed Scouts to a whole new jamboree experience with world-class facilities and a focus on outdoor action sports. In 2017, SBR and the jamboree will be even better.

Denmark National Jamboree
July 22 - 30, 2017

Jamboree Denmark 2017 will be the largest jamboree in Denmark, where 40.000 Danish and international scouts and guides will meet in the scenic surroundings of Sønderborg. Jamboree Denmark 2017 is a jamboree which is planned and hosted by the five Danish guide and scout associations. 40,000 participants – 6,000 of them international – will gather in Sønderborg, Denmark, between July 22 – 30. 31st Asia-Pacific Regional (APR) Scout Jamboree
July 27 - August 2, 2017

In the summer of 2017, Mongolia will be welcoming 10,000 Scouts from all over the world to the 31st Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree. The theme for the event is "Go Nomad". Amongst many of the highlights of the 31st Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree, the programme provides a chance for Mongolian and overseas participants to exchange their experiences, the opportunity for Scouts to learn about Mongolian culture and history and much more. There will be various kinds of interesting activities organised every day for all groups to throw themselves into.

41st World Scout Conference
August 7 - 18, 2017

The World Scout Conference is the governing body of WOSM, and is where many important decisions are made. Member organisations consider the policy and standards of the Scout Movement, formulate the general policy of the World Organization and take the action required to further the purpose of the Movement. Some of the functions of the Conference are to elect members of the World Scout Committee, admit new member countries, and select the venues for forthcoming World Scout Events, namely World Scout Jamborees, World Scout Moots, World Scout Conferences and World Scout Youth Forums. The Conference takes place every three years.

13th World Scout Youth Forum
August 7 - 18, 2017

The World Scout Youth Forum takes place in conjunction with the World Scout Conference. The Youth Forum will take place before the conference and provides an opportunity for youth members of World Scouting to discuss different issues that face their NSOs from a youth perspective. Each National Scout Organization is invited to send a delegation to the World Scout Youth Forum. The participants must be between 18 and 26 years old. Many participants of the Youth Forum are also delegates at the World Scout Conference. The World Scout Youth Forum is considered as an interim measure to improve youth involvement in decision-making at world level and at the end of the Forum suggestions may be put forward to the Conference for consideration.
